 Its torture, just one word to describe what women went through and are still going through .This  procedures that involve partial or total removal of the external female genitalia, or other injuries to the female genital organs for non-medical reasons. FGM occurs across all cultural, religious, and socio-economic groups. It is practiced on every continent except Antarctica. It is largely rooted in the desire to control women’s sexuality and bodily autonomy.
